A few practical details

Clear from the start.

How do the first five free places work?

Each approved clinician account has five ongoing free patient places once patient sharing is configured. Complete your clinician profile, create an invitation, and ask the patient to open it in the app, add their name and choose what to share. No patient sign-in is needed. A pending invitation reserves a place until it is accepted, revoked or expires. An accepted place stays with that patient; stopping sharing does not make it available for someone else. Paid subscription checkout is not yet available.

Does the clinic price include the patient’s app?

Yes. Clinic plans include full patient app access for the covered period and the clinician portal. The patient does not need a second subscription for the same covered access. Existing personal subscriptions remain valid.

What happens if a patient stops sharing?

Their sharing permission and their app access are separate. Stopping sharing does not cancel ongoing free access or any remaining paid coverage. A free place stays assigned to the same patient. They can accept a reconnect invitation in the original app installation; the link does not restore their identity on a replacement phone.

Why do I see INR or USD?

Clinics in India use INR. Clinics in other countries use USD. The selector initially uses your device’s timezone or language region as a suggestion; you can always correct it. INR prices are fixed local prices, not a live currency conversion.

What should we agree with a patient before starting?

Agree on the observation you want to discuss, the usual recording setup and when you will review it. Explain which non-audio information the patient is choosing to share. Use the baseline and one-habit method to set expectations, and the recording setup guide for practical preparation. The clinic invitation does not replace informed discussion or clinical assessment.

Does a better score prove that an appliance or therapy worked?

No. A change in detected snoring is an observation from the recorded nights. It does not establish treatment efficacy, measure oxygen levels or confirm that sleep apnea is controlled. App engagement is not proof that a prescribed exercise was performed correctly. Continue the clinical follow-up and testing appropriate to the patient’s care.

Can the clinic listen to overnight recordings in the portal?

No. The clinician portal does not receive raw audio or snoring clips. Audio is stored and processed on the patient’s device by default and is not uploaded to Night & Air’s servers. Optional device backups and deliberate exports are separate choices. Read the observation and clinical limits.

Is Night & Air a diagnostic tool?

No. Night & Air is a general wellness and coaching tool. Snoring information and app usage support a conversation; they do not diagnose a condition or replace clinical assessment. Read the wellness boundaries.
