How Night & Air works

From your baseline to one focused test.

Build a baseline from seven qualifying, reviewed nights. Then test one habit, review what changed, and keep the reminders that earn their place.

01

Record

Start with ordinary nights.

Open Record, follow the phone-placement guidance, and record overnight. Night & Air processes the overnight recording on your phone to build the Night graph, save short snoring clips, and calculate a Snore Score.

  • No wearable or extra hardware required
  • Snore Score 0–100: lower means less detected snoring
  • Saved audio clips stay on your device
02

Review

Add the context each morning.

Complete the morning check-in: how you feel, any signs you noticed, sleep position, breathing concerns, and whether it was a typical night. Review the Night graph and listen to a 30-second clip when useful. Sound and a score do not tell the whole story.

03

Baseline

Count useful nights, not calendar days.

The baseline needs seven qualifying nights with their morning reviews completed. A short, interrupted, or unusual recording may need more context or another night. The app shows your progress and asks for more nights when it needs them; seven nights can take longer than one week.

04

Follow one action

Review the next suggested step.

After the baseline, review one suggested tune-up around nasal comfort, sleep setup, an evening habit, or rhythm. Keep other habits steady so the comparison asks one question at a time. Airway Foundation is optional practice later in the journey, or when you choose it.

  • One tune-up in motion at a time
  • Typically seven qualifying nights; some tune-ups use five
  • Follow the chosen change in your usual routine, then record and check in

05

Compare

Review the result before keeping a change.

The app compares the tune-up with your baseline using detected snoring and the context of the nights included. A clearer improvement may be worth keeping. “No clear change” is also a valid result. If the available nights do not support a clear comparison, the app can ask for more nights instead.

06

Keep

Keep useful reminders in the background.

Kept tune-ups become reminders you can revisit. They do not become additional experiments running alongside your next test. Today stays focused on the current action, while your kept items help preserve what you have learned.

Airway Foundation

Guided practice, with room to build consistency.

Airway Foundation is an optional later step, or a choice you can make from Other options. It provides guided daily mouth, tongue, and breathing practice. The exercise player walks you through each movement. Recording and morning check-ins continue, so practice has context rather than becoming another unchecked bedtime task.

Foundation is ongoing practice, with a progress check-in every 28 days. It is separate from the shorter tune-ups and does not promise that four weeks will change your snoring.

What the method does not do

It does not diagnose the source of a sound or replace clinical care.

Night & Air is a wellness and coaching product. It helps structure self-observation and low-risk tune-ups for everyday snoring. It does not diagnose sleep apnea, interpret a recording as a medical test, or tell someone to change prescribed treatment.
